Kids Class
Kids enjoy yoga the most, it is a wonderful way to build friendships and learn about teamwork. They enjoy asana games and chanting. They love practicing animal poses, group yoga, and relaxing in child’s pose. Growing up with Yoga makes their journey into teens and beyond fun and balanced.
Senior Class
Movement and balance are two key areas to focus on for aging gracefully. The senior class has in-person and online options. I do many modified practices so everyone can participate and enjoy the benefits. There is chanting, meditation, music, and fun when it is seniors in the room or Zoom!
I see seniors as kids with wisdom. It is incredibly fulfilling to witness them experience the energy of a group, and enjoy their practice.
Fun fact: They never miss a class!
Adult Class
Adult classes provide an opportunity to share the energy and be a part of the community. Classes focus on progressive practice, posture correction, strength, stability, and flexibility to build harmony with breath, body, and mind. Group practices are high-energy spaces, excellent for sound meditation, and asana practice to inspire and support your fellow practitioners. That is how one feels all charged up after a class.
1-1 Class
When we study Yoga and its origin, we follow that it began with a personalized practice. The guru/teacher would share the practice as and when the student showed readiness. Every individual is different at different times and in different environmental conditions. As humans, we are gifted with our portion of ego that constantly pushes us to compete, and become socially recognized.
1-1 classes bring more grounding feeling, a sense of acceptance, and focus on your own practice. I truly believe the bond shared with the teacher largely influences your practice. Personal classes are a great way to build your energy receiving mode and nourish the healing space within. I highly recommend at least 1 personal class every month along with group practices.
I offer both, online and in-person 1-1 classes.
